[SUMMARY]A 61-year-old man who was holding onto an iron plate which was attached to metal wires, when the wires touched a power line, got an electric injury（ EI）.He was brought into the emergency department. We recognized the grade III burns due to the EI; the back side of the right index finger, the left palm, the back of the left hand, the left upper quadrant, the inside of both feet and the outside 4th and 5th toes of the left foot. We gave negative pressure wound therapy to the left 5th toe after debridement of the wounds. On the 22nd day after hospitalization, we confirmed necrosis to the left 5th toe and performed an amputation. We also performed split-thickness skin grafting on both sides of both feet. On the 62nd day, his condition had improved enough for him to be discharged. In an EI, it is difficult to evaluate the depth of the wound damage. results on provocation tests,including three patients negative for specific IgE.【Conclusion】 Various foods are responsible for FDEIA in children. Skin prick tests are efficient in ascertaining certain suspected foods before performing provocation tests.
