Description
[あらまし] 研究成果や研究資源などのデジタルリソースを教育の場に活用し，それによって教育の質的転換をめざす『デジタル・スカラシップ』構築の一環として，千葉大学学術リソースコレクション(c-arc) を公開した．障壁なくリソースの相互有効活用が可能であること，その分野の専門家に留まらず他分野における活用の可能性を広めうるものであることが必要である．そのため，国際的な画像の相互運用の枠組みであるIIIFを採用した．また，この目的に合ったライセンスとしてRights Statements を採用した．中が見えにくい検索型ではなくショーケース型のシステムとした．公開中のコレクションとしては，江戸時代から伝わる医学書や園芸書のような歴史的リソースだけではなく，菌類の顕微鏡写真のような自然科学分野の資料も含んでいる．
[Abstract] Chiba University launched a new academic resource collection named “Chiba University Academic Resource Collections (c?arc)” which makes content published and provided by Chiba University Library widely available on the web. This website is a new nfrastructure to realize “Digital Scholarship”, which promotes using digital content to research, education, and learning materials. This system was constructed using the technology of IIIF, and adopted a method of listing items like showcase. Now “c-arc” offers Rare eastern medicine book collection, Horticulture book collection on Edo-Meiji era, Archive of the Machino family and Fungi and Actinomycetes gallery.
