In this paper, I analyzed the phrases which are used by non-native speakers, when they try to begin the spontaneous utterance. From the examination, I can understand that the repetition ‘nanka nanka' and the conjunction ‘demo' are the effective way to start utterance. Then, the ‘e' which is used for asking questions and the ‘hai' which is only used by non-native speakers are observed as a part of way to begin utterance.
