Since 2009, Chiba city office has promoted "kids entrepreneurship education" programs for elementary and junior high school students. But among those programs, there were no programs in which children experienced processes of building businesses in several days. In 2010, as a collaboration project of Chiba city office and Chiba University, we developed an entrepreneurship education program "Nishi-Chiba (West Chiba) Entrepreneur School". In this program, children experienced not B to C retail businesses but B to B social works. So this program is a "social entrepreneurship education program" in which children try to solve real local problems supported by adults in the local community. Through describing the process of the practice, we have found that the concept of "social entrepreneurship" was properly accepted by the children and that the efforts to build social works which can really contribute to the local community had both difficulties and importance.
