[SUMMARY] This text is a partial of "Ordos Folklore Collections" (published by Inner Mongolia People's Press, 1999). The original title is "呃鄂尔多斯民间采风 (Eerduosi minjian caifeng)" by Qian Shiying. The original manuscript was written in Chinese. This book contains eighty-six folktales collected in the Ordos district of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China, and arranged by the author. The folktales fall into three categories: folk tales about animals and plants (28), folktales about people (34), and myths (24). I translated five folktales about people. "Taking up a son-in-low" and "Staying at a motel" describe Chinese as cunning. On the contrary, Mongols as goodness and diligence. "Shepherdess" is a kind of fable. The topic of "Rich man and poor man" and "A stone is better than nine sons" is about filial piety.
