CONSTRUCTING A THEORETICAL & ANALYTICAL FRAMEWORK FOR META-SYNTHESIS OF CLINICAL KNOWLEDGE OF INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP IN JAPANESE NURSING

The purpose of this study was to construct a theoretical & analytical framework for meta-synthesis of clinical knowledge of interpersonal relationship in Japanese nursing. We constructed the framework by meta-synthesis of 13 qualitative research which were impressed paper in Journal of Chiba Academy of Nursing Science in 2003～2004, original papers of a thesis or a dissertation, and qualitative research about nursing interventions. As a result, the following were identified: Nurse's cognition/action and Client's (patient, family, citizen) cognition/action were changed through reciprocity between a nurse and a client. Nursing goals and interventions became equivocal, focused, wholistic and professional while clients became growing, empowered as outcome through the reciprocity. These finding suggested the themes of meta-synthesis according as attribute of a nursing subject.
