An experiment was done to determine what factors influence the adhesion of the Creeping Fig (Ficus pumila L.). Wooden walls were set up in the field and indoor. Two conditions of sunlight and humidity were used both in the field and indoor. The experiment showed that stronger adhesive force was found under the conditions of full sunlight, high moisture, rough wall surface and thick plant stem than under shade, low moisture, smooth wall surface and thin stem.
温暖地の壁面緑化用つる植物として重要なオオイタビについて, その壁面の被覆にとって大切な付着性についての実験をおこなった.その結果, 日向・高い温度・粗い付着壁面・オオイタビの太いつるの方が, 日陰・低い温度・平滑な付着面・細いつるより, より強い付着力を得られることがわかった.
